Austria’s mass COVID testing shifted from paper queues to an end-to-end digital flow—QR check-in, on-site validation, automated results, and tamper-proof certificates via SMS/WhatsApp. Integrated with existing systems and auto-reporting to authorities, it scaled to 500,000+ tests/day and cut per-test time from ~15 minutes to ≈1 minute, reducing touchpoints from 3–5 to one.
